For the Elric family, pictures of glowy blue circles and dark blue backrounds seem to run in the family.
Or maybe I'm just that unoriginal!

I first see the glowing circles, and those lead my eye to the arm, and then up to the figure. I then see the face and the red shirt. Lastly I see the background.

I enjoy how the circles were done, the glow is very nice and contrasting against the rest of the image. The color (yellow/blue) of the glow is also very well mixed. I like how the glow transfers to the skin of the figure.

I like the painting style, the skin and hair are very nice. The shirt has very realistic folds. The scrunched up sleeves are also realistic and are a nice touch. The background is also a very nice color, the blue creates a dark night/interior scene, which matches the eerie blue magic.

One thing that confuses me is the lower arm being lit. The glow is a bit bright compared to the rest of the glow from the circles, as the arm is far away from them compared to the face and other arm.

I also am confused on the off-colored blue square in the background. I assume it is a window or painting, but neither seem to fit exactly.

Overall, very nice piece, great painting style and color. Nice realistic shirt and hair. The blue square in the background is strange, but the color of the background is nice. Good Job!

I find this picutre very amazing. The color difference between the background and the main objects is very great and brings them out. The shading is wonderful and bends with her. Her hair is full and it not plain,making it look really real. The skin texture is lifelike. The art it's self is wonderful. My bad comments to say is that some parts of her body look adnormal. I seem to find that the face holds barly emotional content. The background might look better if it has as much shading as the rest. I applode you on the hands and the circles are just AWSOME!! Good job.
